Assisted Uzbekistan with the placement of a US$250M sustainable Eurobond on the London Stock Exchange one of the first sovereign sustainable bonds from Central Asia.
Assisted in the issuance of the US$11M Quality Education India DIB, a four-year pay-for-results programme improving literacy and numeracy for 200,000 primary school students across India, in collaboration with 15+ partners. Students learnt 2.5× those in non-participating schools.
Lead finance partner for the European CINEA OCEAN Mission. Working with the Asian Development Bank to develop its Blue Bond Incubator supporting replication and de-risking of blue bond issuances across the Asia-Pacific region with credit enhancement mechanisms and sovereign training.
Structured a US$100M blended reforestation fund in collaboration with Terraformation. The fund deploys incentivisation models that make forest conservation and regrowth initiatives financially appealing to private investors, including a joint White Paper on innovative forest financing structures.
Designed a Metropolitan Climate Fund for Orléans, France exploring decarbonisation co-benefits. Developed an innovative 'pay-per-mile' model enabling a US city to purchase electric buses within municipal budget constraints. Provided WEF with actionable transition finance recommendations for heavy-duty vehicles.
As part of the NetZeroCities consortium, BwB supports EU Mission cities with robust Climate Investment Plans for achieving climate neutrality by 2030. We also developed and launched the Climate City Capital Hub an innovative, solutions-driven response to unlocking financing for climate resilience projects.
